Front Desk :
Answering incoming calls / Confirming appointments, greeting and helping patients with scheduling appointments; maintaining records and accounts by updating personal and financial information; collecting co-payments and balances owed; insurance verification and benefits eligibility for patients; protecting patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information; maintaining office operations by following policies and procedures; and contributes to the team effort through the accomplishment of front desk tasks
Full time hours
Minimum- High School diploma
1-2 years' experience in a Dental office or customer service setting
Dentrix knowledge a plus
Skills and abilities:
Must have excellent communication and people skills, as well as be able to multitask and stay organized; Great phone etiquette and customer service and people skills; Computer savvy and be able to use computer to enter patient information
Compensation and Benefits:

Dental Assistant :
Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures; taking and developing dental radiographs; recording information into the patient's dental chart; following infection control protocol by sterilizing and preparing instruments; maintaining dental equipment; helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatments; teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health such as tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling; posting completed procedures in the patients’ chart; scheduling patient appointments, answering phone, billing and ordering supplies.
Candidates must be X-ray certified, have a positive outlook and high energy. 2+ years prior experience and dentrix software experience is preferred but not necessary.
